Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing all aspects of full-charge childcare for both children, engaging in age-appropriate activities both playful and educational, always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, child-related housekeeping and meal prep and assisting with helping the children meet developmental milestones. The 16-month-old currently attends daycare Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm which will allow time to perform the child-related household duties and care for the infant. The family will have a newborn care specialist in the evenings. Their ideal candidate will be warm and have a genuine love for children, works intuitively, has experience with infants, and is familiar with Montessori. The candidate should be comfortable with having a work-from-home parent present and will know when to step-in and when to allow space for parent and child. The family spend Summers in the Northeast and the candidate must be willing to join them for all domestic travel.
The family has a pool so the candidate should have basic swimming skills. A current infant/child CPR certificate, TDap and COVID vaccines, and Trustline certification are also required for this role.
