Overview

A loving and busy family in Hillsborough, CA, is seeking a full-time family assistant to join their team. Their current nanny is relocating out of the area this month, and they are seeking a replacement. The family consists of three daughters, ages 5, 12, and 14 years old. The schedule would be Monday through Friday, from 1pm-8pm and on Thursdays until 9:30pm. The ability to occasionally work a Saturday would be key! The family would guarantee 40 hours a week. The position is available for immediate hire. A candidate who is already living locally in the Bay Area is preferred.

Responsibilities

 

  • Daily childcare for three school-aged children
  • Driving the youngest to after-school activities - Family provides a car for use on the job. 
  • Helping with warming up dinner
  • Keeping the kitchen tidy after meals
  • Random errands like returning packages, taking the cars in, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a home with pets - two small poodle mix dogs
  • Occasional house/dog sitting while family travels (not very regular)

Requirements

 

  • Legal to work in the US
  • Trustline Certified for CA - if not already, please apply
  • Preferably already long to the Bay Area
  • Conscientious driver with valid and clean driving record
  • Up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID, annual flu shots, Tdap, and MMR
  • Comfortable in the water

Salary and Benefits

 

The family is open to a competitive hourly rate and the following benefits:

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation
