Seeking a fabulous, professional infant nanny for a 2.5month-old girl based in South Kensington.  Expect a Monday through Friday schedule, probably from 8 or 9am until 4 or 5pm, however Mum would appreciate a nanny who is willing to travel, and who can also offer occasional weekends/overnights when needed. 

Mum and baby are currently in Dallas, TX, and would love the nanny to join them there just before the end of June before accompanying them on the flight back to the UK, and helping settle them in once home.  Ideally the full-time nanny would be open to doing this, in which case the role is likely to start towards the end of June 2025. However, Mum is also happy to consider bringing someone on just for the journey back to the UK and the initial settling in period, if necessary, in which case the permanent nanny would start mid/end July 2025.  The position will likely continue until Christmas 2025 or early 2026, with a possible relocation planned at some point after that (not yet confirmed).

Please note that this will (mostly) be a shared care role.  Candidates must therefore be happy to tag-team with Mum, while at other times taking sole charge.  

• All usual nursery duties relating to the infant, including nappy changing, keeping her areas clean, tidy and organised, laundry and ironing, feeding etc
• Researching, suggesting and finding fun local activities and outings in the area
• Developing a supportive social group for baby in the local area
• Supporting with the weaning process
• Ensuring she is hitting developmental milestones, and really engaging with her general health and well-being (physical, mental and emotional)
• General help around the home - emptying the dishwasher, tidying up, wiping down kitchen sides etc
• Occasional errands

This is a position for a nanny with a pitch-in mindset, and who is happy to share care with Mum on a regular basis.  Other desired attributes include:

• At least 5 years of previous experience with infants 
• Sterling references
• Gentle, warm and nurturing personality, with a real love for children and nannying in general
• Flexible and easy-going attitude, with a friendly, positive outlook
• Adaptable and able to work in a relatively casual environment while also able to maintain professional boundaries 
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to travel, which will likely involve extra hours and some weekend help
• Excellent English, and Russian would be helpful but isn't necessary
