Overview

A busy return British American client is searching for a fantastic live-in housekeeper to join their home. The role is Thursday to Monday from 8 am to 5 pm. The role will mainly be based in NYC but travel to the Hampton's and Florida is included as needed. 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep cleaning of all household areas, ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage heavy laundry loads, including care for linens, delicate couture garments, and fine fabrics. Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and garment preservation is essential.
  • occasionally help with child care for the principals grandson.
  • Dinner party set up and service.
  • Provide evening turn-down service, maintaining a welcoming and restful environment in bedrooms.
  • Assist with household organization and support general upkeep tasks as needed.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while working in a private home.
  • Be available and willing to travel with the family on occasion, providing housekeeping support while traveling.

Qualifications

  • Willingness and happiness to travel
  • Love for children and want to be part of a team 
  • Ability to read the room- this is no a role for a someone chatty
  • Driving would be a major plus

Requirements

  • Proven experience in high-end residential housekeeping or similar professional setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, fabric care, and laundry best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pristine environment.
  • Flexibility in schedule and ability to adapt to changing needs.
  • MUST be able to work weekends and live-in

Salary and Benefits

  • $1800 for Thursday- Monday plus FULL Health, PTO
