A discreet family based on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time personal/family assistant to start ASAP. Candidates should be able to provide 24/7 availability, which does not mean they will be required to work 7 days per week, rather it means being reachable outside of their regular work week if the principals are traveling, or in the event that the candidate is working on a time-sensitive project (e.g. moving house) or in the case of an emergency. The candidate will provide in-person assistance (from the family’s home- not remotely), and hours will typically vary from one day to the next, depending on the family’s needs, though will typically fall between 9am-6pm, Monday through Friday.   Candidates must be supremely organized critical thinkers, with superlative communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and verifiable experience managing a high-end, staffed household (nanny/chef/housekeepers). The family travel both domestically and internationally and candidates will be required to join them on occasion.   Candidates must have a clean driving record and current driving license. Only those candidates who are fully COVID vaccinated will be considered. The family are offering a starting salary of $130-$175k to the successful candidate, plus health-care. If you are interested, with a US passport, Green Card or EAC, please apply to KP402.

A lively and sweet family of five in NoHo is seeking a full-time nanny/family assistant to join their team in early 2023. The schedule would be Monday through Friday, typically 12pm to 8pm or 9pm. The children are ages 6, 8, and 10, and Mom stays at home, so you'd work collaboratively to manage the children's schedules. They are flexible on start time as all the children are in school, but will always need availability during the evening hours.  Job responsibilities include handling pick-up of at least one (sometimes two) children, shuttling to and from after-school activities and sports either in the car, helping with homework, heating up dinner and managing meal time, and getting the children ready through evening routines with the parents. The family assistant responsibilities (generally to be completed in the few hours before school pick-up) include things like grocery shopping and errands, personal administrative tasks for the parents, and keeping the children's lives organized. If you are interested in cooking, that would be a huge plus! The family is looking for someone energetic and proactive with a positive attitude. The family spends Summers in the Hamptons, so you would work Monday through Friday there and go home on weekends during the Summer months. The family also travels occasionally for short-term trips, so you should be able to join them for those with advanced notice. You must also have strong swimming skills and a valid driver's license. The salary range offered is $35 to $50 per hour (based on a 40-hour week) and the rate will reflect the experience and skillset of the hired candidate. If you're interested and legal to work in the US, apply to EB328.
