Overview

A lovely couple is looking for a long-term, full-time, live-out nanny, in Jupiter, Florida. The role would start ideally in April. Only local candidates will be considered. The family includes the mother, father, and one-month-old baby girl. They have two cats.

 

This person must have extensive experience caring for infant through at least toddler-aged children. The nanny must know milestones the child should be reaching, know age-appropriate developmental activities, must know sleep training and food transitions, be engaging with her, and be able to help guide the new parents by making recommendations, however understand that ultimately the parents wishes on raising the child should be respected. They have a calm household and appreciate someone who is the same in addition to being easy going and mature. Someone who speaks Spanish is a bonus. The nanny will also have light housekeeping duties, including keeping the child's room, closet, and play areas clean, keeping the kitchen clean, doing the child's laundry, and maintaining overall tidiness of the home.

 

Hours will ideally be Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days, starting around 7am. Flexibility is required to stay late or work on off days occasionally. The schedule may change as the child grows of course. The family is offering PTO, paid sick/personal days, main federal holidays, and a discretionary yearly bonus. They are considering a medical stipend but this is to be determined.

 

The nanny must have their U.S. Passport and be able to travel domestically and internationally (most travel will be domestic)- this will include summering in Lake Tahoe for 1-2 months. This person must have their valid drivers' license, must have their own car, and must have a clean driving record- you will have access to a family vehicle for work purposes. The nanny must be a confident swimmer, must be CPR/First Aid certified, and must be COVID, TDAP, and Flu vaccinated. If interested, apply to VV343.
