A wonderful and active family in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco are seeking a full-time, live-out nanny for their children ages 2, 4, and 8 to start immediately. The schedule will be Sunday-Thursday from 7am to 5pm. The schedule will be subject to change depending on the family’s needs and the children’s school schedule. Flexibility with timing will be required.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to full-charge care of all three children with a co-nanny, planning and driving to various activities, travel prep and packing, occasional meal prep, child-related laundry and tidying up, ensuring milestones are met, proactively engaging and encouraging the children’s imagination, and supporting their athletic interests. Their ideal candidate is a team-player who is interested in sports, has experience as a camp counselor or has a knack for creating a fun environment incorporating different indoor/outdoor activities, is familiar with Montesorri and can travel for extensive periods of time. One of the children has peanut and sesame allergies. It is imperative that the candidate be proactive and aware when providing snacks and meals.

This is a fully staffed household where everyone happily pitches in and the right candidate will follow suit. The family has homes in Kauai and Montana and the candidate will be expected to travel for weeks and months at a time especially November – January, rotating holidays with the other nanny. The same or similar work schedule will be adhered to when traveling.

A clean driving record, valid driver’s license, the ability to swim, and a COVID vaccination are required for this role. Prior experience as a camp counselor, coach, or teacher would be a huge plus but is not required. The family is offering $40 per hour, health insurance, 401k, and 2 weeks PTO.
