A busy, professional family of 5 (2 children in college and 1 in high school) based in Washington DC is looking to hire an experienced full-time, year-round, live-out estate manager to oversee daily maintenance and repairs for their multiple properties, including all the moving pieces of an older and prominent Georgetown compound where the role will be based 75-80% of the time. This must be an exceptional individual of the highest level of excellence who can perform related PA duties as well with efficiency and attention to detail for special projects/events for the family. A couple in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan is seeking an education-minded live-out nanny for their one and a half year-old son to start in May or June. The family hopes to grow their family with another baby in the next year or two. The schedule will usually be 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, with flexibility for a possible weekly date-night or extended overtime hours during travel times. The family travels up to four months of the year, both domestically and internationally in up to 4-week blocks. Summers will be spent in the Hamptons or Cape Cod, so those times would be 5-day live-in.  The job responsibilities include all care of their child including engagement in developmentally appropriate routines and activities, facilitating play-dates and classes/activities for his enrichment, taking him to parks/museums/libraries etc., laundry, his meal prep, and keeping him and his belongings organized and tidy. The position will also include some family assistant type responsibilities, like running errands and grabbing groceries, possible meal prep for the family, and other tasks (within reason) that help facilitate their baby's well-being. The mother will be working from home full-time, and she’s looking for a true partnership with the nanny. It’s vital that the nanny sees their-self as a caretaker of the baby and a member of the family team, and is able to use their discretion to step back when the parents or guests are around without being told how to stay busy. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field like early childhood education or psychology, or has experience working in a pre-school or day-care environment. Infant and toddler experience is a must, and knowledge or training of a respectful childcare philosophy (RIE, Montessori, Reggio Emilia for examples) is a plus. The apartment is a 4th floor walk-up, so the nanny must be able to easily carry their toddler up those stairs at least once per day. A lovely family of four, primarily based outside of Boston, MA, with another home in Palm Beach, FL, is looking for an exceptional, career nanny to work a live-in rotational schedule of 2-weeks-on and 2-weeks-off. Prior rotational schedule experience is required. This position is fast-paced, so the ideal candidate must be energetic, forward thinking (two steps ahead), and self-starting. The family also loves to have fun, so they are looking for someone who is extroverted, silly, and sweet (but can also be professional and polished when appropriate). Private living accommodations will be provided at each of the family's homes, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. You will be on-call 24/7 during the 2-weeks-on and have the baby monitors overnight. The family will provide transportation to and from their homes, so the nanny will preferably be based on the East coast and be able to drive or be near an airport.   The family has an outgoing and curious toddler and an adorable 8-month-old infant. Both parents primarily work from home and love being hands on when present.
