Overview

A growing family in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking two superlative live-out ROTA nannies for their 1-year-old, starting mid-August. The schedule will be 1 week on/off, and live-in accommodation will be provided to candidates on duty only. This is a semi-formal household and the family values privacy and professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care for the child, ensuring safety, and well-being

  • All typical nursery duties will apply - keeping play areas tidy, keeping on top of supplies, removing old toys/ wardrobe items that no longer fit etc.
  • Design a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity, help the child master fine and gross motor skills, language, numbers etc.
  • Simple, healthy food prep for the child only
  • Travel both domestically and internationally with the family (this is a travel-heavy role)

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience
  • Experience with sleep training is a huge plus
  • Candidates must have a clean driving record and current license and be comfortable driving in LA
  • Candidates should have an educational background in Child Development/ ECE or other relevant field
  • Former teachers, Educators, Governesses and seasoned candidates with decades of relevant experience, superlative references and longevity are also welcome to apply

  • Be warm and welcoming and possess a respectful and adaptable demeanor
  • Be nurturing, willing to step in without being asked
  • Must be experienced and confident travelelers (and well versed in packing and organization)
  • Be calm, low-key, polished, poised, and composed
  • Be able to read the room - know when to step up and step back when the family are having intimate family moments, and exhibit a level of sophistication when addressing the family’s friends and broader family
  • Candidates must be CPR/First Aid certified and be non-smokers
  • Candidates must be passport ready/be willing and excited to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Must be Trustline registered (or willing to register ASAP)
  • Available to start mid-August
