A lovely family living in Shrewsbury, NJ is seeking a full-time live-out nanny to assist with care of their two sons, ages 10 months and 4.5 years. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with some flexibility for occasional changes due to parents' work schedules. This position is available for an immediate start, or the family is able to wait until the summer for the right person.    The older child attends full-day school, so the majority of duties will relate to care of the 10-month-old, and will include child related tidying and laundry, preparing children's meals including baby food, providing an engaging and stimulating environment for development, and proactively researching and planning outings and classes. The baby is currently on a schedule, and the nanny should be willing to follow that and adjust for new developmental phases. There is no screen time in this household and the family feels strongly about nutrition for the children. If the nanny enjoys cooking and wants to occasionally prepare dinner for the parents as well that would be a bonus, but is not required. The ideal candidate is someone with long-term experience who is able to instill values and manners, and provide stability and loving care.    The family spends July and August at their summer home in Avon, New Jersey, so candidates must be able to commute daily to that location during the summer months. Driving is required for this position, and the family will provide a car for work use. Swimming is not required but would be a plus. The family travels occasionally and the nanny is not needed to accompany them, but that is an option if the nanny wants to do so. A Covid vaccine is required for this role. A lovely family on the Upper West Side of NYC is seeking a nighttime NCS for their baby due at the end of July. The contracted term will be 4 months (through late November/early December) and the work schedule will be 12 hours per night, 7 days per week. The family plans to travel to their home in the Hamptons from early August to Labor Day (about 1 month) and then on weekends from September-December, so the NCS would live-in during that month and on weekends thereafter but would still not work any daytime hours. In the Hamptons, the NCS will have their own room to rest in and retreat to, and meals will be provided during those days. When in NYC, the position is live-out.  This is the family's second baby, and mom will be on maternity leave during the length of the contract. They plan to feed on demand (breastfeeding and pumping) and do not want to purposefully stretch the hours between feeds overnight. The ideal candidate is confident but can defer to the parents' preferences, knows when to jump in and out of family time, and is comfortable keeping to themselves during the non-working daytimes in Long Island. They'll expect the NCS to minimize perfumes and any makeup/nail polish, as they are sensitive to these things. The hourly rate range offered is $35-$40 per hour and the pay is fully on the books.
