Overview

A professional couple is looking for a long-term, full-time, live-out nanny to join their team, in the Dupont Circle area of Washington, D.C. The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am until 6pm. The family will relocate the right candidate. 

Responsibilities

The family includes the mother, father, 3.5-year-old girl, and 21-month-old boy. The girl does go to school half day. Both grandmothers live nearby and visit often. One of the grandmothers lives next door and has one hypoallergenic dog. Other staff includes another full-time nanny and a housekeeper that does the deep cleaning. Duties wil linclude;

  • A-Z child care and helping to structure and manage toddler behavior

  • Managing both children at the same time, although you will usually be working with another caregiver

  • Light household chores including taking trash out and bringing bins in, loading and unloading the dishwasher, ordering groceries via Instacart, driving the kids to and from activities/school, opening packages, and kids laundry

 

Qualifications

  • The nanny must be fit, active, and engaging with the children- nurturing their growth and development with age-appropriate activities
  • This person should be friendly, easy-going, and emotionally competent

Requirements

  • Ability to juggle both children
  • The nanny must have a valid U.S. Passport or valid Permanent Resident Card (green card)
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally, without restriction
  • Have a drivers' license
  • Know how to swim
  • The nanny must be COVID, TDAP, and Flu vaccinated

Salary and Benefits

  • $35-$45 per hr
  • The family is offering a monthly medical stipend, PTO, paid sick/personal days, main federal holidays paid, and a yearly bonus
