A loving, down to Earth family is seeking a house manager/executive housekeeper for their home in Ridgefield, CT. Ideally, the family would like a domestic couple, but they are very hard to come by, so the family are open to a house manager/executive housekeeper who could maintain the home year-round. You must have a strong network of vendors and contractors and ideally know local landscapers/handy men. This is not the family's primary residence, they will mostly be there weekends and during summer. They are open to live-out locals, but would prefer a someone who could live-in on property year round. They have an amazing large guest house near the entrance of the property for the house manager to live in. It is a 2-bedroom cottage, complete with a kitchen, sitting room, laundry, and a private garage.    You will be responsible for all of the exterior and interior maintenance, swimming pools, tennis courts, preparing the homes for the family’s arrival before the weekend, stocking the home, overseeing landscaping and gardening of the 50 acre property, and the housekeeping of a 12,000 square foot home throughout the year. The right NCS must commit to work for three to six months.    Duties include all aspects of baby care and feeding, including bathing, bedtime routines, diaper changes, dressing, laundry, maintaining the nursery, sleep training, and calming the baby.    The ideal candidate must be caring, patient, kind, gentle, soft-spoken, and knowledgeable of child development milestones.
