Overview

A family in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a seasoned, live-in career nanny for their 2-year-old, 4-year-old, and baby (due in August). The role will start at the end of July, so the candidate has time to get to grips with the role, shadow the family’s other nanny, and bond with the children before their sibling arrives. The schedule will typically be Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 4pm-8pm (the other nanny leaves at 4pm) and weekends from 9am-5pm. Days off will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The schedule may switch up on Saturdays if the parents go out in the evening.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the children at all times
  • Simple food prep when required - the parents love to cook and typically prepare dinner for the children at 5pm each night, sit with them and then eat separately once they’re in bed. Candidates might need to prepare something simple for the children on Saturdays if the parents are out in the evening.
  • Engage the children- only 20 minutes of screen time is allowed per day and candidates should not be on their phones while on duty.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working in a similar role
  • An education or background in Child Development, ECE or other is preferred.

Requirements

  • US passport, Green Card or EAC
  • Passport ready and willing to travel - the family travel private charter frequently, both domestically and internationally (at least 2 x per month). They also have a yacht, so candidates must be able to swim.
  • Must have a clean and current driving record
  • The family have 3 big dogs so candidates must be comfortable with this - they will not be the candidate’s responsibility.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive DOE + healthcare and all industry standard benefits
