Overview

A warm family in Sammamish, Washington state is seeking a lovely live-in (but open to live-out during some months of the year) nanny for their four children: a 2-year-old son and daughter (twins), a 4-year-old son, and a 6-year-old daughter. The schedule will be 40-45 hours weekly from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday and two guaranteed weekends off per month with half days on Saturdays for the other two weekends. However, the schedule and hours may vary according to the season and travels. The family will give the nanny each week's work schedule on the Sunday of that coming week. The role will be 4 months in Sammamish, WA but in other locations throughout the year as they travel often and move throughout the year for the Father's job. The nanny has the option to live out during the fall and winter months while the family is in the Seattle area. The role starts as soon as a wonderful fit is found.

Responsibilities

  • Giving the children care and attention
  • Being willing to work alongside parents and grandparents but also able to watch all fours kids alone
  • Taking care of the home by helping with dishes, laundry, and keeping it tidy
  • Transporting children to and from classes, practices, etc.
  • Occasionally running errands
  • Being open to helping with homeschool by doing lessons with the children
  • Meal/snack prep for the children
  • Traveling with the family

Requirements

  • Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified (current)
  • A licensed driver with a clean driving record
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

  • The annual salary for this role is $80,000
  • A monthly healthcare stipend
  • 21 days of paid time off yearly (this includes sick days. When requesting days off the family asks for at least two weeks' notice)
  • The family will be on vacation November 5-10 and the nanny can have these days off, not counted toward the nanny's PTO
  • Major holidays will be off (such as New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, but the Fourth of July is not guaranteed)
  • Live-in accommodations when traveling is own bedroom and bathroom
  • In Sammamish, the live-in accommodations will be a bedroom and bathroom with a private entrance
