Job Locations US-NY-Columbus Circle
A busy family of three is seeking a full-time chef for their home on the Upper West Side. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, and the chef will be responsible for preparation of lunch and dinner, and will leave breakfast for the following day. The approximate in-home hours will be 9:30am-7pm. The family will likely host several dinner parties per month at the home, so candidates should be flexible for that as well.    This couple enjoys healthy eating, and would like to find a chef who can cook organic, clean, light, and delicious food. One of the principals is a vegetarian who enjoys Indian, Mexican, Chinese, and Thai cuisines, among others. The other principal is an extremely picky eater, so the chef should be comfortable with preparing two different meals to suit their preferences. The family also has a two-year-old child who will eat a variation of whatever the family is served. The chef will also prepare snacks and meals to be reheated over the weekend. The chef will have full domain over the kitchen, and will be responsible for everything related to it, including grocery shopping, kitchen organization, keeping the pantry and refrigerator stocked with staples, and cleaning up after meals. The housekeeper will assist with kitchen cleanup, but they are seeking a true team player who takes ownership and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.    This role is fully NYC based, with no second summer home. The family travels quite a bit and the chef will not be required to join them. A COVID vaccine is required for this role. The family will offer a competitive salary of $150,000-200,000, as well as health benefits. If you are legal to work in the US and would like to be considered for this role, please apply to AS412.

Seeking an energetic and active live-out ROTA nanny for a family of 6 moving to NYC.  Expect a rotating schedule of 14 days on/14 days off, but candidates will need to be flexible to accommodate extended rotational shifts during periods of travel.      Candidates will be based in the Bahamas for the first 6 months and will then move to New York City with the family.  The main responsibilities will include helping with the day-to-day life of four school-aged children (all under 9 yrs) - getting them up and ready in the mornings, general admin and organisational duties relating to the children during the day and when on vacation, taking them to any activities, supporting their evening routine, and from time to time helping cook delicious, nutritious meals.  Candidates should be comfortable working alongside parents who are very present in their children's lives, this is definitely about tag-teaming with the parents, seeing where support would be helpful and stepping in wherever necessary.  The family's preference is for a fabulous, fun older sister type caregiver, comfortable and familiar with a busy household with multiple children and who displays a real muck-in attitude.  The family are sporty, close-knit and adventurous – they are looking for a nanny who will fit well into this dynamic, who is proactive, has a passion for the outdoors and healthy living, and who can keep up with their busy lives.  A real team player!   The position will involve regular international travel that includes the Bahamas, the US, and Europe.  The home is fully staffed, so the rota nanny must be an excellent communicator, comfortable working alongside others and happy to pitch-in wherever necessary. Candidates should be completely invested in the well-being of the children and with supporting the family as a whole, and must also love animals – there are two very friendly dogs in the household who are definitely part of the family!   A Spanish-speaker is essential and ideally the nanny is located in NYC and already familiar with what is on offer there for school-aged children.   A confident, safe driver with a clean licence would be preferred.  Accommodation is provided offsite in the Bahamas, while in NYC it would be preferred if the nanny had their own place and the rota position was considered a live-out one.     If you are COVID-vaccinated, have outstanding references, at least 5 years of prior experience, and are legal to work in the US, please apply to ZI154.

Job Locations US-CT-Stamford
A lovely, relaxed, and active family based in Stamford, CT, seek a fabulous nanny/housekeeper for their 4-year-old twin boys.  A possible schedule would be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1.30pm to 7:30pm, Tuesdays from 2.30pm until 9.30pm and Thursdays from 2.30pm until 11.30pm.  If candidates are looking for 40hrs per week, then the family can offer some extra hours over the weekend.  Flexibility would be appreciated to cover for some overnights, and travel (both international and domestic).    From 1:30pm the nanny will be responsible for some light household duties relating to the boys (for example tidying, meal-prep, laundry, etc.) before collecting them from school at 3:30pm.  From 3:30pm onwards, duties will include taking the children to any of their after-school activities, organising and accompanying them on play-dates and outings, and generally helping with the afternoon and evening routines.      The ideal candidate is active, enjoys having fun, going to parks, zoos, and museums, loves playing outside and is creative with developing enriching, interesting activities that keep the children engaged. The boys respond well to boundaries, so candidates should be comfortable with being firm but fair, and with ensuring a structured environment - but most of all, a caring, nuturing and patient personality should shine through!  The family are keen to find someone flexible, who is able to accommodate a changing schedule, has a positive and bubbly personality, and who can slot easily into the family dynamic.  Previous experience with twins would be ideal, as would a native/fluent French-speaker (although this isn't essential).  Candidates must also be okay with a small, friendly dog in the home (and with sometimes feeding her or letting her out).    If you are interested in the role and legal to work in the US, please apply to ZI167.
