A warm and caring family is seeking a live-out nanny to help care for their 5-month-old baby boy. This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA and is available as either full-time or part-time, with flexibility around the proposed schedule. They are looking for a nanny who is nurturing, dependable, and experienced with infants, ideally someone who can grow with their family.

Schedule Options:

Ideal: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Alternative: M/W/F 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and T/Th 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The start date is preferably August 1st, but they’re open to starting earlier on a part-time or on-call basis. The duration is through October 31st, with potential to transition to a permanent role in Los Altos Hills, CA.

• Ensure the baby’s safety, health, and happiness at all times
• Provide developmentally appropriate activities to support physical, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Maintain the baby’s daily routine (feeding, naps, play)
• Handle diaper changes, baby’s laundry, and meal prep/feeding
• Keep the baby’s room and play areas tidy (cleaning bottles, dishes after meals, organizing diaper bag, etc.)
• Track and report the baby’s schedule (feeding, napping, etc.)
• Take the baby on walks, to parks, classes, or playdates
• Occasionally help with bath time or bedtime if parents are out
• Be open to flexible hours and occasional overtime (e.g. date nights or late returns)
• Perform light household chores (related to baby and general tidiness)
• Be open to driving as needed (e.g. errands, outings, classes)

• Fluent in English
• Infant care experience required (especially with children under 1 year)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Comfortable with occasional schedule changes or evening care
• Trustworthy, organized, and gentle in demeanor
• Willingness to drive is a plus (clean driving record preferred)

• $35–$45/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
