A single parent expecting his first baby at the beginning of November 2023 is seeking an experienced newborn care specialist. The schedule will be 24/7 to start and as baby gets into a rhythm, break days can easily be incorporated. The duration of the contract will be a minimum of 6 months, though may extend to 9 or even 12 months, depending on whether the parent has a second child during this time. A young professional couple in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is seeking a live-on property housekeeper.  The position comes with housing- the clients are open to relocating the right candidate looking to live in a town known for its skiing winters (10 mins to the airport/20-25 mins to town). A single, stay-at-home father based in Malibu, CA, is seeking a long-term nanny/family assistant for his baby, due via surrogacy on March 20th, 2023. The candidate will ideally start in March or April and will work alongside a newborn care specialist for the first two months. This role is preferably live-in, and the principal will provide a self-contained ADU adjoining the home but with a separate entrance (including bedroom, full bathroom, and kitchenette). The principal is also open to live-out, as long as the candidate does not live too far from the home.    The schedule will typically be 9am-6pm Monday through Friday, and the candidate’s days will be split between family assistance and childcare. From 9am-1pm the candidate will assist the father with miscellaneous admin. He runs multiple companies and is winding these down, though will require basic assistance with tasks such as checking emails, making/taking calls for him, etc. He will train the candidate and there will be no calendar management or travel booking (he has a robust operations team in place). Other responsibilities will include grocery shopping, managing the housekeeper/cook and vendors, keeping all of the baby’s items organized and sterilized, running errands, and more. Basically, whatever the candidate can do to ensure the father gets to spend as much time with his baby as possible, is welcome. From 1pm-6pm the candidate will care for the child as the father has an off-site commitment during that time. The father will return by 6pm and take the reins from there. While it is not anticipated that there will be assistance needed outside of 9am through 6pm, the candidate should have the flexibility to be available if an urgent need arises. The candidate would receive overtime pay for any such occurrence.      The father would prefer candidates to be proponents of RIE (or a similar approach), and be confident implementing this childcare approach. Candidates must be fully COVID vaccinated (including both boosters) and be up to date on all other vaccinations (including Tdap/Flu etc.). Candidates must also have a valid driving license and clean driving record (a car will be provided to the candidate for use on duty). A range of $120k-$140k is being offered to the successful candidate, depending on whether they live-in or live-out.
