Job Locations US-NY-Upper East Side
A busy family in Greenwich is seeking a warm and loving 5-day, live-in career nanny to care for their 17-month-old. The schedule will typically be 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday through Friday. There are 2 older siblings (a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old) who are in full-time school and also have their own nanny, though being able to comfortably tag team with their nanny when required is appreciated (multiples experience is a must for this reason).   Responsibilities will mostly pertain to the toddler’s care and wellbeing, ensuring she is hitting developmental milestones, scheduling play-dates, planning fun, educational activities and generally keeping her engaged and inspired. Assisting with the morning and evening routines, as well as simple breakfast, lunch and dinner prep is also required, though there is a full-time housekeeper who cooks, so this will be a team effort. The housekeeper will typically also keep on top of laundry, so this will not be the nanny's responsibility.   The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, professional, nurturing, consummate team player, with a genuine love for children (i.e. is happy to get down on the floor and play), and extensive nanny experience (preferably in Greenwich). Candidates with an educational background in Child Development/ ECE or other relevant field are preferred. The family spend July through August (inclusive) at their home in the Hamptons, so candidates should be willing to join them during the week, per their regular schedule. A clean and current driving record and reliable vehicle are a must. If you are interested and legal to work in the US, please apply online to KP238.
