Overview

A wonderful couple in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a fantastic full-time Executive Housekeeper for their household. The role can be live-in or live-out. If live-in, they will have a. 800. sq. ft. guest house on property for the candidate. Live-out is preferred, but they can be flexible for a perfect fit. The schedule is preferably Tuesday through Saturday with flexible hours, occasional longer days balanced by lighter days throughout the week. Flexibility appreciated, especially around holidays and special events. The couple has no children but there are 3 small dogs in the home. The home is 3,900 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping & Home Care
    • Daily laundry and linen service for two adults
    • Bed-making and linen refresh daily (master bedrooms)
    • Deep cleaning on a weekly schedule
    • General tidying, organization, and upkeep throughout the home
    • Closet, cabinet, and storage organization as needed
    • Vacuuming and light cleaning of garage as needed
    • Cleaning of exterior patio furniture and crystal lighting fixtures
    • Care of tile flooring (including grout) and marble countertops
    • Holiday decorating and seasonal home prep
  • Light Cooking & Food Prep
    • Occasional cooking of simple, fresh meals (e.g., eggs, fish, rice, soups, sandwiches)
    • Preparation and cutting of fruits and vegetables
    • Baking (e.g., cookies) as requested
    • Harvesting seasonal fruit and vegetables from the garden
    • Stocking and maintaining all refrigerators (indoor and outdoor)
  • Pet Care
    • Feed dogs 3x per day
    • Let dogs out and monitor as they roam the property (no off-site walks required)
  • Errands, Deliveries & Vendor Coordination
    • Sign for incoming packages and deliveries
    • Open, inspect, and inventory all incoming items, report any damages or discrepancies
    • Restock household supplies and update inventory lists as needed
    • Run errands as needed (groceries, household items, dry cleaning, etc.)
    • Coordinate with outside service providers including house plant care, pest control, gardeners, window washers, auto detailers, etc.
    • Serve as on-site point-of-contact for scheduled maintenance and vendors

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in private estate or luxury home housekeeping preferred
  • Light cooking or meal prep skills a plus

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage
  • Comfortable with pet care
  • Professional, courteous demeanor and respect for privacy
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement offered if driving own vehicle or work vehicle might be provided)

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary position with flexibility in daily hours ($80k-90k+)
