A lovely Notting Hill based family are looking for a night nanny for their 3-year-old twins.  The usual schedule is Monday to Friday from 7pm until 7am, however the family travel fairly for up to 25 days a year at which point the schedule would change to 24/hr care (shared with another nanny).  Duties will include a quick handover with the day nanny and then, if the twins aren't already in bed, following the evening routine. The twins are excellent sleepers and normally sleep through, so the rest of the evening would involve some clearing and tidying, laundry and ironing and general prep for the following day.  The current night nanny wakes around 5am to ensure breakfast, packed lunches and school bags are all ready by the time the boys wake up, any time from 6.30am onwards.  At 7am you would hand over to the day nanny.     The ideal candidate is warm, intelligent, flexible and easy-going with knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities. This will mostly be a sole charge role, so you must be honest and trustworthy with a fantastic can-do attitude and the ability to connect with two very different personalities.  You should be available to travel with the family when required and ideally would also be available to cover should one of the other nannies be sick or unable to come to work.  A native English speaker (or complete fluency in English) is essential, as is patience, a genuine love of children and the ability to really engage, stimulate and nurture young minds.  The family travel to the US regularly, so dual US/British nationality would be ideal although it's not essential.   If you are interested in the position and are legal to work in the UK, please apply to ZI079.
