Job Locations UK-London
A lovely family based in central London seeks a wonderful housekeeper/cook for their home in Fulham. The ideal schedule would be Tuesday through Friday, 12 or 1pm until 5 or 6pm and then Saturday for either a half or full day, however the family are also open to just Tuesday through Friday as well.     The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the home– ensuring the 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom residence stays clean and tidy throughout, keeping on top of laundry and ironing for the whole household, sweeping, dusting, and hoovering regularly, some errands such as food shopping, picking up dry cleaning, returning orders etc., and also keeping an eye on the external areas.  For the cooking aspect of the position, candidates should be confident preparing an evening meal for the two children aged 4 and 6, and sometimes their parents.  The family enjoy light, clean and fresh Mediterranean style cooking mainly.     The ideal candidate has a bright, positive personality, and a pitch-in mentality.  Mum is currently at home some of the time, so expect some input and guidance and please be adaptable and happy to accommodate requests.  The home is a typical London townhouse, so candidates will need a reasonable level of fitness and should be comfortable carrying loads up and down stairs.  There may be occasions where some childcare would be helpful, such as picking a child up from school, however the family have a full-time nanny and so this won't be a regular request.  Note that a decent level of English is essential, the housekeepeer/cook will need to be an effective communicator and able to take on-board instruction and feedback.  The ability to speak Spanish would also be appreciated, and candidates must be ok with a friendly cat in the household.   If you are interested in the role and are legal to work in the UK, please apply to ZI225.
