A lovely welcoming family based in New Canaan, CT seek a warm and nurturing live-in, Russian-speaking nanny for their 5-month-old daughter (and, occasionally, for her 4.5-year-old sister).  The usual schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am-7pm, with time for a break during the day, however flexibility would be appreciated to cover for some weekends and babysitting 1-2 times per week. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) supporting weaning and preparing fresh, healthy food, baby-related laundry, ironing, cleaning, and tidying, finding local classes and activities, managing nap schedules, planning fun and creative activities both inside and outdoors, encouraging educational, social, and emotional growth, implementing the bath and bed-time routine, and generally providing a nurturing and positive environment within the household. A Rochester, NY based family is seeking an executive housekeeper to join their team. The schedule for this position is variable- when the family is traveling the schedule will be a standard Monday through Friday, 35-40 hour week. When the family is in residence the schedule will be more intensive and will likely include weekends. The family has additional homes in Canandaigua, NY and the executive housekeeper will be asked to travel to these residences.    The primary functions of this position are to manage the interior of all properties, collaborate with the Property Managers to prepare the homes for visits from family and guests, and manage staff. The family employs a housekeeping team, and this position involves working with the team to maintain cleanliness of both primary residences, including deep cleaning and tidying as needed. Their Malibu, CA residence includes a home (3,600 sq. ft.) on a 15,800 sq. ft. lot with lush landscaping, citrus trees, rose garden (experience with local vegetation is helpful but not mandatory), and pool (maintenance training will be provided). The projected schedule is Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm (flexible), for a total of 40 hours per week. The principals do ask for flexibility to work on weekends on occasion and will swap time off during the week for any weekend day(s) worked. Additionally, there may be times to care for the pets for extended periods of time or when the principals are traveling; so being flexible to be “on duty” is necessary overall.
