A family who currently splits their time between their Hamptons home and their NYC apartment are seeking a flexible full-time nanny to help with the care of their 4-year-old and newborn. The newborn will have a baby nurse for the first 3 months, but in March you will be expected to help the stay-at-home-Mom care for both children- so toddler and infant experience is required. They need a candidate who is able to live-out at the moment, but who can transition to living-in beginning in March. While in NYC you must be comfortable sharing a room with the baby, but while spending time out in the Hamptons you will have your own space. Their ideal schedule will be flexible, preferably with a split two days off (like Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday), but they are open to discussion about this.
Their ideal nanny will be warm, loving, friendly, and will have a true passion for childcare. You should be dog friendly and have a pitch-in mentality- helping out with light housekeeping tasks like tidying up, running the dishwasher, handling children's laundry, etc. You must be able to travel and be willing to spend the Summer's in the Hamptons- all of which will start back up again when it's deemed safe. For the time being they will be back and forth from the Hampton's based on school openings/closings.
Overall, this down to Earth family is looking for a long-term nanny to grow with their family, who is flexible, kind, and Covid-safe. If you are legal to work in the US and are interested in this role, please apply online to KM461. They are looking to hire ASAP.
