Seeking a full-time educationally focused nanny to care for four children- mainly assisting them with at-home learning at the moment. You will be working with two sets of twins, 2 6-year-olds and 2 13-year-olds- one of whom has special needs. The special needs child is very sweet and kind and has his own private tutor- the parents ask that you just maintain his follow up lessons as directed by the tutor. No special needs experience is required but would be a plus. The family lives in Teaneck, NJ and while they would like someone to live-in until the covid restrictions have begun to fade, they ultimately would like this person to live-out so you must have a car and be able to easily commute to Northern NJ on a daily basis. As mentioned, your current priority will be to assist all children with their virtual learning so an educational/teaching background is a non-negotiable. When restrictions start to be lifted you will also be taking children to/from school and after-school classes and activities. Most of the children attend school on the Upper West Side where the family does have a second home (time will be spent there in the future) so being familiar with the Upper West Side is also preferred. You must have 5-10 years of prior nannying experience and should be able to hit the ground running as a properly trained career nanny. A private bedroom and shared bath are provided for you in the home. You must be flexible to travel, typically two weeks every season. They would love a nanny who can stimulate the kids with learning and fun games and who enjoys delving into cultural activities. You must also understand this is a full-charge role so preparing meals for the children, keeping their items neat and tidy, keeping them properly dressed for the days activities, and maintaining their wardrobe is also required. Generally when live-out the schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday from 7am-8:30am and then from 2pm-8/9pm. If you are legal to work in the US and are able to start ASAP, please apply online to KM410.
