  • Overview

A wonderful family on the Upper West Side is looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to start in May 2020. Their current nanny is retiring and can stay on longer if needed, so the start date can be flexible. The schedule will be Monday through Saturday OR Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm. The 6 day-a-week schedule is highly preferred. The mother is a stay-at-home mom and currently has a 4 week old infant and a toddler that she needs help with. The mother is very hands on and needs someone who is comfortable working on a team with her. The main responsibilities will include engaging the toddler, assisting with bottles, diaper changes, getting the infant to sleep, preparing meals and snacks for the toddler, and assisting in the home as needed. The family travels to the Hamptons during the summer months, so you must be able to live-in in the Hamptons for the summer only. The ideal candidate will be calm, loving, nurturing to the children, and a great team-player. The family has a friendly Golden Retriever, so you must be okay with dogs in the home and ideally love dogs. The parents sometimes travel alone and currently leave the children with the nanny, so they would love someone who is comfortable to stay for a week and take on full-charge care while the parents are away. The mother has a strict no phone policy while working, they have had problems with this when trialling candidates in the past and will not move forward with anyone who has their phone out with the children. The family wants to find someone to stay with them long-term that will be flexible, dedicated, and become part of the family. Hindi speaking candidates are highly preferred, though this is not a requirement. If you are interested please apply online to GM085.
