Working parents with teenage children are looking for a full-time nanny for their 14-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome. It is not a requirement to have worked with special needs before- the most important quality in a candidate is a loving, fun, and patient personality who can be a companion and extension of the parents. The hours will be 1pm-9pm Monday through Friday, and will include picking the child up from school, driving her to activities, socializing and keeping her active, and then helping with the dinner and bedtime routine. There is no care required for the older teens. There will be 40 hours guaranteed per week with the option for overtime, as well as medical benefits for the right candidate. All transportation will be reimbursed, and the candidate can live-in if preferred. If you meet the qualifications listed and are legal to work in the US (Greencard, US Passport, or EAC) and would like to be considered for an ASAP start please apply online to MK137.
