Overview

Private residence seeks an experienced and extremely “hands-on” House Manager / Butler to assist with the daily care and maintenance of their large modern apartment. The principals live part-time in New York without pets are seeking a full-time,  live-out candidate. The family spends 6 months per annum in New York, with the rest of the year spent overseas. While the family is in New York, schedule is Monday – Sunday with required flexibility for the hours. There is downtime and flexibility with days off when the family is not in residence. Flexibility upon request to travel to the family’s residence in London or to accompany the family during their vacation overseas is preferred. The ideal candidate would be incredibly willing to assume a “no task is too big or too small” attitude and would be willing to do whatever is necessary to promote success and satisfaction within the residence, always delivering to a high standard and exceeding expectations. Responsible for the car, daily driving of family members and guests to social and professional events in the family’s large SUV. Upon request, preparing healthy simple meals and fridge fillers for the family at their modern European and fully equipped kitchen. The candidate should have excellent experience in a previous private and formal household with a thorough understanding of delivering to high standards and exceeding expectations. This role requires flexibility, anticipation of the Principals’ needs, and the ability to take and follow direction. The candidate should have a track record of consistent high-end service, be meticulous, detail-oriented and professional in their approach.
