Overview

A warm and welcoming family based in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and engaging part-time nanny to care for their delightful 8-month-old daughter.

The family is looking for a career nanny who genuinely loves working with children and brings a positive, playful, and affectionate approach to childcare. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infant development and enjoy engaging with their daughter through age-appropriate activities, interactive play, and plenty of conversation.

Both parents are friendly, flexible, and keen to establish a long-term relationship with someone who will become a valued and trusted part of their daughter's life. The family hopes to welcome more children in the future, so they would love to find a nanny who is happy to grow with them.

The family is seeking approximately 24 guaranteed hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate the right candidate's availability. The schedule could consist of shorter shifts across five weekdays or an alternative arrangement that works well for both the nanny and the family. The family may also consider slightly more hours, up to a maximum of 30 per week.

There may be opportunities for additional paid evening babysitting or occasional travel with the family, although neither is a requirement.

The family is offering a competitive hourly rate alongside a generous benefits package, potentially including up to four weeks of paid time off and a healthcare stipend.

The ideal start date is as soon as possible, preferably by November 1st, although the family is happy to wait a little longer for the right person.
