Lovely first-time parents in San Francisco are looking for an experienced, warm, calm, and highly professional Nanny to care for their 4.5-month-old daughter. They are hoping to find someone who truly enjoys partnering with parents to support a baby's development and who is interested in growing with their family over the next few years, ideally through age 3–4.
Both parents have busy professional careers, while being very intentional about remaining actively involved in their daughter's day-to-day life. One parent works from home fulltime and both travel occasionally for work. They are looking for a nanny who iscomfortable working in a close partnership with engaged parents and who naturally understands how to move between taking the lead and giving the family space. The right person will bring experience, good judgment, and ideas while respecting the parents' preferences and role as primary decision makers.
This is a child-focused position with no general household cleaning responsibilities. The Nanny will be responsible for their daughter's daily care, including overseeing naps, feeding, diapering, hygine, developmental activities, and exploring the surrounding neighborhood for walks, parks, library visits, and enrichment. As she grows, the Nanny should be comfortable supporting milestones such as starting solids, language development, potty training, and everything in between.
Professionalism, discretion, and good awareness of boundaries are especially important to the family. They want someone who is kind and warm without being overly familiar, communicates like a professional colleague, takes direction well, and has the social awareness to understand when to step in, when to collaborate, and when to give parents space with their daughter. They are looking for someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of their daughter's life and grow with her beyond the baby stage.
