Overview

A growing family is seeking an experienced Full-Time Career Nanny to provide exceptional care for their young child and ideally remain with the family as they welcome additional children in the future.

The family is looking for someone who views nannying as their profession and is genuinely excited by the opportunity to grow alongside one family for many years. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of child development, and experience supporting children through the rapidly changing stages of infancy and early childhood.

This family values active, engaged caregiving. They are looking for a nanny who enjoys creating thoughtful activities and play opportunities rather than relying primarily on outside classes or scheduled programming to fill the day. Outdoor time is important year-round, as is encouraging curiosity, movement, imaginative play, and developmentally appropriate independence. The household is currently screen-free for the child, and the family would like their nanny to support that approach and continue minimizing screen exposure as the child grows.

Personality is equally important. The ideal candidate is fun, energetic, warm, and engaging, with a naturally upbeat presence and the stamina to keep pace with a growing family. At the same time, they should be confident navigating challenging moments calmly, using redirection and age-appropriate boundaries while helping establish consistent routines.

The preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, guaranteeing approximately 50 - 55 hours per week.

The family is seeking someone as soon as possible but is focused on finding the right long-term fit.

The family travels approximately once or twice per year, often internationally and generally for no more than two weeks at a time. The nanny should be excited to travel with the family and comfortable providing occasional overnight care at home as needed.
