Overview

A family in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced, engaging, and proactive Spanish-speaking Nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 1 and 5. The family is hoping to find someone who genuinely loves working with children and who will be an active, engaged presence in their daughters' lives.

Their ideal nanny will naturally take initiative, plan activities, get outside with the children, support their development, and keep the day moving without needing to be told what to do. Spanish is especially important to the family, as they would like their daughters to have consistent exposure to the language throughout the day.

Mom is currently at home and is very involved with the children, so the nanny should be comfortable working alongside a hands-on parent and becoming a trusted extension of the family.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:30am–6:00pm

Notes:

The family is looking for a nanny who will feel like a true extension of Mom and Dad. They want someone they can trust to walk out the door and know that the children are in capable hands. The right person will be naturally attentive, someone who notices when the children need something, recognizes potential safety concerns, keeps the children's spaces tidy, and takes care of the little things without waiting to be asked. They are looking for someone who will bring ideas to the table rather than relying on Mom to plan the children's days. Spanish is a major priority for the family. Their youngest has been exposed to Spanish from the beginning, and they would love for the nanny to speak primarily Spanish with both children and help their older daughter continue building her language skills. The family values quality, trust, and longevity. They are hoping to find someone who will become an important and consistent part of their family for years to come as they hope to continue to grow their family in the future.
