A warm, professional couple based on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced weekend nanny for their 16-month-old son.

The weekend will involve a combination of sole-charge and shared care. The parents have busy schedules and often have evening commitments, so the nanny should be comfortable independently managing the child’s daytime and evening routines, including meals, activities, naps and bedtime.

The anticipated schedule will be approximately 12 daytime hours on Friday and Saturday, with up to three additional hours of evening babysitting each day, plus approximately four hours on Sunday. The position will offer approximately 34 guaranteed hours per week. Private accommodation will be provided throughout the nanny’s working block.

This is a fully child-focused position with no general household cleaning required. The family is seeking someone calm, warm and caring who can provide dependable weekend support and accommodate occasional travel. The ideal candidate will respect the family’s privacy and personal space while becoming a consistent, long-term presence in their son’s life.
