Overview

A private family in New York City is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable part-time private chef to prepare simple, wholesome, flavorful meals using high-quality organic ingredients. The family follows an anti-inflammatory diet, and one family member is gluten-free. Strong nutritional knowledge and the ability to source excellent organic produce are essential.

The chef will initially work three days per week, preparing fresh breakfasts and light lunches, as well as dinners for later in the day. The family would prefer meals to be prepared as freshly as possible. The position may expand to five days per week in the future.

The household includes a 10-year-old child, so the chef should be comfortable preparing healthy, appealing meals for both adults and children. The successful candidate will be responsible, professional, self-directed, and able to manage the kitchen independently while working collaboratively with the family’s long-standing household team.
