A warm, professional family is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their household team who has previous yacht experience. The property is fully staffed and consists of multiple residences, each approximately 2,500 square feet. Two of the homes are occupied full-time. The remaining homes are utilized when extended family members visit or when the family hosts events and gatherings.

The household operates in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with clear communication, mutual respect, and a strong emphasis on professionalism. The family is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards while working seamlessly with an established team.

The ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable to changing priorities, comfortable around pets, and looking for a long-term opportunity within a stable and respectful household.

Sunday – Thursday

Housekeeping & Household Maintenance

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance throughout all residences on the property
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness in bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, kitchens, guest suites, and common living areas
• Complete deep cleaning projects and seasonal household maintenance
• Make beds, change linens, and iron household linens
• Prepare other homes before arrivals and complete turnovers following departures
• Maintain organization throughout all household spaces
• Ensure all homes consistently meet the family's high housekeeping standards

Laundry & Wardrobe Care

• Household and family laundry
• Iron and press clothing, linens, and bedding
• Provide proper care for specialty fabrics and delicate garments
• Utilize appropriate washing, drying, steaming, and fabric-care techniques
• Organize closets and wardrobes

Formal Service & Hospitality

• Provide formal food and beverage service during family meals and special events
• Set and clear formal and informal tables
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown
• Prepare guest areas before arrivals and maintain presentation throughout gatherings
• Support hosting responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
• Provide light pet support when a guest is in residence with their dogs 

Household Operations

• Monitor household inventory and supplies
• Maintain pantry organization and cleanliness
• Check expiration dates on medications, vitamins, pantry items, and household supplies
• Assist with household errands as needed
• Proactively identify maintenance concerns and household needs
• Assist with event preparation and post-event cleanup
• Provide additional support during holiday gatherings and special occasions

• Previous yachting experience as a Steward or Stewardess is required
• Minimum of 5 years of private household housekeeping experience
• Previous experience working in fully staffed private residences with excellent verifiable references
• Strong laundry, ironing, and garment-care skills
• Knowledge of specialty fabrics and luxury household finishes
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing responsibilities
• Comfortable working around pets
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Professional and respectful communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with household staff
• Comfortable receiving direction while remaining proactive
• Cooking experience is a plus but not required

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous experience working as a Steward or Stewardess on a private yacht.
• Experience maintaining luxury private homes with exceptionally high standards.
• Comfortable working in a uniformed position.
• Comfortable following established household protocols and chain of command.
• Physically able to perform all housekeeping duties.
• Available for occasional schedule flexibility during events and special household needs, including potential travel to another family property if required.
