Overview

Soon-to-be parents living in northwest Washington, DC, are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child at the end of February.  The family is seeking a newborn care specialist for six months, with a schedule of 18-20 hours/day, 7 days a week. The family will relocate to Bethesda, MD, in April.  The parents are seeking guidance on all aspects of newborn care.  They will be using a surrogate and bottle feeding.  Ideally, the NCS would start two weeks before delivery to ensure the nursery is properly set up and everything is in place.   The surrogate is due February 28th, 2027, so a mid-February start.  The position is ready to hire upon finding the right candidate.

  • All aspects of providing attentive and nurturing newborn care, including feeding and bathing
  • Establish and support healthy sleep habits and sleep conditioning

  • Like and be comfortable around dogs
  • Travel with the infant to a second home about 3 hours away that the couple likes to visit during the summer.  The NCS will have a private room at this home.

Note: Living accommodations: In both homes, the candidate will have a private room and access to a private bathroom.  In the current home, the bathroom is not located off the bedroom, but it will be in the new home.
