A family is seeking an experienced temporary Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight care for their nearly four-month-old son while the mother is visiting family. Their son was born prematurely and is still establishing his sleep routine, so the family is looking for a calm, knowledgeable, and nurturing caregiver who is experienced supporting young infants overnight.

The ideal candidate has previous newborn and infant experience, is confident with overnight care, and can provide a restful and supportive environment for both mother and baby during this temporary assignment.

Schedule 

August 24 - August 31 

9pm to 7am

• Providing attentive overnight care for one infant
• Bottle feeding throughout the night
• Responding to the baby's needs and soothing him back to sleep
• Monitoring feeding and sleep routines
• Supporting healthy overnight sleep habits as appropriate
• Washing and preparing bottles as needed
• Communicating with the mother regarding the baby's overnight routine and any notable updates

• Calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
• Knowledge of infant feeding and sleep routines

• Professional, dependable, and discreet
• Strong communication skills
• Previous Night Nanny or Newborn Care Specialist experience preferred

$50-$55 an hour
