Overview

A wonderful BAHS client is seeking a fantastic Family Assistant for their large San Francisco home. This is not their main residence at the moment, and they need someone amazing to oversee it. Ideally, the role would be part-time, but for the right person, it can be full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and schedule a cleaning crew- the schedule will be 2x monthly during the school year and 2x weekly during the summer months.
  • Oversee operations of a large, high-end residence
  • Manage and coordinate ongoing construction, renovation, and home improvement projects
  • Ensure all systems, vendors, and services are fully operational and proactively managed
  • Anticipate household needs and ensure the home is always guest- and family-ready
  • Coordinate with teams at other residences
  • Manage vendor relationships, schedules, contracts, and quality control
  • Maintain organization, documentation, and follow-through across all properties
  • Work collaboratively with existing household and personal support staff
  • Support a warm, professional household culture with discretion and consistency
  • Oversee lawn and grounds care

Requirements

  • Proven experience or similar role supporting high-end private residences
  • Strong background in home management and project management, including construction oversight
  • Highly proactive, detail-driven, and solution-oriented with excellent follow-through
  • Strong communicator who works seamlessly with principals, staff, and vendors
  • Exceptionally organized and calm under pressure
  • Flexible, trustworthy, and 5 steps ahead

Salary and Benefits

  • $60-$65 per hour, but open
  • Health insurance stipend
