Overview

Very involved new parents living in Miami, FL are in search of a top-notch Newborn Care Specialist to help with their three month old son. The role is ideally 7 nights a week for 12 hours per night. There is flexibility for the right person. The family is looking for more "awake Care" then not so please indicate if you have experience with this. The role starts ASAP and will run through the end of October.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, nurturing newborn care
  • Establish and support healthy sleep habits and sleep conditioning
  • Assist with feedings, including bottle preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing
  • Diapering and maintaining proper hygiene
  • Monitor the baby's health, behavior, and developmental progress
  • Maintain a calm, structured, and supportive environment
  • Complete baby-related laundry and organization
  • Clean and sanitize bottles and baby equipment
  • Keep the nursery and baby's environment clean and organized
  • Support parents with education, guidance, and routine development
  • Communicate clearly with parents regarding sleep, feeding, and daily observations
  • Follow parents' preferences while adapting as needed
  • Offer professional recommendations based on current best practices and experience

Qualifications

  • The family prefers more awake care then not- ideally the candidate will have experience with this. 

Requirements

  • Experience as a newborn care specialist
  • Must be local to the Miami area
  • Strong sense of trust, discretion, and professionalism
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • 5 years minimum experience as a NCS or Newborn Nanny

  • Valid US work authorization

  • Valid passport Strong verifiable references
