Overview

A family is seeking a Part-Time Infant Nanny/Family Assistant to support their home and care for their infant son.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys the balance of infant care and helping a household run smoothly. Approximately half of the role will focus on caring for the baby, while the remainder will involve light household support such as laundry, dishes, kitchen resets, and general tidying. The family has weekly housekeepers, so this is not a deep housekeeping position. They are looking for an extra set of hands who naturally notices what needs to be done and enjoys pitching in wherever needed.

Both parents are actively involved in their son's care. Mom is home throughout the day, and dad works from home part of the week, so the ideal candidate is comfortable working collaboratively in a shared-care environment. The home has a calm, peaceful atmosphere, and the family is hoping to find someone with a positive attitude, strong infant experience, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.

The schedule guarantees 38 hours per week and is typically:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Thursday and Saturday: 1:00 PM–8:00 PM

The family is open to removing the regular Saturday requirement.

The family is hoping for a mid-July to early August start and is focused on finding someone who can grow with them over the coming years.
