Overview

A warm, highly involved family is seeking two exceptional career ROTA nannies to join their childcare team and provide attentive, nurturing care for their two young children (ages 3 and 5). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced travel nanny who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys adventure, and is passionate about child development, language immersion, and gentle parenting. The family are relocating to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in August. Their lifestyle includes significant travel throughout the western United States, Canada, and internationally, often to remote and adventurous destinations. This position is ideal for candidates who are flexible, proactive, organized, and excited by a highly travel-oriented role. This is an informal, warm, and collaborative household. The parents are highly involved in their children's daily lives, and view their childcare professionals as valued members of the team who are an extension of their family.

The family maintains excellent long-term relationships with household staff and seeks candidates who appreciate working in close partnership with engaged parents while providing exceptional care, consistency, and support.

The schedule will be 24/7, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. The family are seeking one native Spanish and one native Mandarin candidate. Candidates may live anywhere, although for those candidates flying in/out, preference will be given to candidates based on the West Coast or Mid West so that flights to Jackson Hole are shorter and easier. The family are also willing to relocate candidates and provide private accommodation for them.

The family typically travel with two childcare professionals to ensure adequate rest and coverage - they have a travel nanny who will be on board to assist candidates on their rotations. Longer rotations may occasionally be required for extended family expeditions, with advance planning and additional time off arranged accordingly.

The family follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach and practices gentle, respectful parenting. It is extremely important that the nanny shares these values and is committed to fostering a nurturing, child-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and emotionally attuned, providing loving guidance while supporting the children's growth into confident, kind, and capable individuals. The family is seeking a nanny who can model empathy, respect, and emotional regulation, while encouraging curiosity, independence, creativity, and learning through exploration. A strong attention to detail is essential. The successful candidate will be highly observant, proactive, and thoughtful, anticipating needs before they arise and maintaining a high standard of care in all aspects of the role.
