Overview

A very busy working executive couple with a newborn, living in the NOMAD area of NYC, is seeking a full-time, live-out family assistant to join their family. The role would involve working closely with both parents. The schedule would be Monday through Friday from 9:30 am -5:30 pm. Optional periodic overtime opportunities on nights and weekends. The position is ready to hire upon finding the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the household calendar
Acquisition and disposition of supplies
Making appointments and reservations
Booking travel
Researching family matters, including health and child development
Grocery shopping
Preparing healthy food
Interfacing with household cleaners
Occasionally planning a family event (like brunch, neighborhood gatherings,
Handling other needed correspondence
Errands, as requested
Two weeks' travel per year, if required, with reasonable advance notice, for 1.5 times pay during working hours on the trip.

Qualifications

Well educated
Poised and happy disposition
Coming from a family (or a history of working with a family) that set a high bar for character in addition to academic, arts, and athletic attainment

Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Clean and valid driver's license
Fully vaccinated
Already live locally or within a commutable distance to NYC
Travel may be required for this role up to two weeks per year, with additional pay
