A warm, professional couple who recently relocated to Manhattan are seeking a reliable, proactive, and dog-loving full-time housekeeper to support the smooth operation of their household and provide attentive care for their two small Italian Greyhounds. This is a long-term opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining an organized home, and is comfortable caring for beloved family pets.

The family's primary priority is the daily care, exercise, feeding, and overall well-being of their dogs. Housekeeping, laundry, and light meal preparation responsibilities will be performed while the dogs are resting or otherwise settled.

The couple is currently residing in a serviced apartment and anticipates moving into their permanent residence on the Upper West Side within approximately 2–4 weeks. They would ideally like to begin working with a candidate as soon as possible to establish routines and build familiarity with the dogs before the move.

Residence

• Approximately 1,700 square foot apartment
• 2 bedrooms/2.5 bathrooms
• Upper West Side, Manhattan
• No children
• Two small Italian Greyhounds

Schedule

Monday through Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm EST. 

The successful candidate should be open to occasional schedule flexibility as household needs arise.

Guaranteed Hours: 32/weekly

Dog Care (Primary Responsibility)

• Daily dog walking and exercise
• Feeding and maintaining feeding schedules
• Monitoring overall wellbeing and comfort
• Managing potty breaks throughout the day
• Cleaning and maintaining indoor potty/pee pad areas
• Providing companionship and consistency while owners are working
• Assisting with transitions and routine-building during the family's relocation

Housekeeping

• Daily tidying and organization
• General housekeeping and upkeep of the residence
• Kitchen clean-up and maintenance
• Dusting, vacuuming, and floor care
• Bathroom maintenance
• Trash and recycling management
• Maintaining an overall clean, orderly environment

Laundry

• Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry
• Ironing garments as needed
• Maintaining clothing and linens in an organized manner

Light Cooking / Meal Preparation

• Simple meal preparation for the couple
• Assisting with basic cooking tasks
• Grocery and pantry organization as needed

Meal preparation is considered a valued skill but is secondary to dog care and housekeeping responsibilities.
