Overview

A private, health-conscious couple is seeking a long-term Executive Housekeeper to help support the smooth day-to-day operations of their home. This is a full-time, live-out role based in Boulder, Colorado. They are looking for someone who takes pride in creating calm, organized, well-functioning environments and who enjoys supporting a household in thoughtful, practical ways. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, trustworthy, and enjoys being part of a long-term working relationship.

This role combines household management, housekeeping, light cooking, errands, and organizational support.  The couple is low-key with an active, health-oriented lifestyle. Their values center around wellness, family, meaningful experiences, travel, and maintaining a peaceful home environment. They also have a very friendly 7-pound hypoallergenic dog. The atmosphere of the home is informal and respectful. Professionalism, good communication, reliability, and mutual respect are valued.

 

Work Locations

Primary locations include:

• Main residence (approximately 4,500 sq ft) 

• Nearby apartment used primarily for cooking and laundry 

 

Occasional locations may include:

• Principal’s office (light tidying approximately once per month) 

• Secondary apartment (as needed) 

 

This is a non-travel and live out position.

 

Schedule

• Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with the typical schedule of 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

• Daily workflow and locations may vary depending on household needs 

 

Responsibilities


Include, but are not limited to:

Errands:

  • Handling external errands, including dropping off/picking up dry cleaning, post office/FedEx runs, and prescription pickups.
  • Pantry & Inventory Control: Conduct weekly audits of household supplies, toiletries, and pantry staples. Create shopping lists and restock items before they run out.
  • Activity preparation: assist the principal with packing and unpacking for activities such as gym, biking, and travel with the provided checklist
  • Assisting with occasional household projects and administrative tasks
  • Vendor Coordination: Receive packages, manage incoming mail, and wait for home repair technicians or delivery personnel.

Housekeeping (approximately 10–20 hours/week)

Examples include:

  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, and comfortable home using a rotating task system
  • Laundry, folding, steaming, ironing, and dry-cleaning coordination
  • Cleaning and maintaining small household appliances
  • General organization and upkeep 

 The family values thoughtful prioritization while maintaining a calm, functional home environment over perfectionism.

 

Cooking & Grocery Support (approximately 10 hours/week)

Examples include:

  •  Preparing simple, healthy meals using provided recipes (steamed vegetables, grains, proteins, etc.)
  • Grocery ordering and shopping
  • Kitchen organization and cleanup

  • Approaches both large and small tasks with care and professionalism 

     

Requirements

  • Pet and child friendly
  • Prior experience in private homes, hospitality, family assistant housekeeping, or related environments
  • Seeking a long-term position
  • 5+ years of prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper
  • Ability to follow simple recipes
  • Discreet and able to maintain privacy and boundaries within a private home
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Tech Savvy
  • Local candidates strongly preferred
  • Legal to work in the U.S.

 

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering a competitive rate based on experience, PTO, and a monthly health insurance stipend of up to $500. Mileage will be paid for work-related errands, and a work phone and laptop will be provided.
