Overview

A warm, professional family in New York City is seeking an experienced, engaging, and highly reliable full-time nanny to care for their infant daughter who will be 6 months at the start of the contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny who genuinely enjoys the infant stage and is confident supporting early development, evolving routines, and age-appropriate engagement. The family is looking for someone who is warm, calm, proactive, and naturally attentive, someone who takes initiative while also working respectfully alongside highly involved parents.

Both parents work in hybrid roles and are deeply engaged in their daughter’s care and development. The ideal candidate is emotionally intelligent, professional, communicative, and able to “read the room” while maintaining a steady, supportive presence in the home.

A strong French speaker is highly preferred, as the family would love for the nanny to consistently speak French with their daughter throughout the day.

The family currently employs an infant-specialized nurse through early July and is open to an earlier transition period to allow for onboarding and continuity of care.

The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for the right candidate. Occasional evening support and openness to domestic and international travel are appreciated.

The family is seeking a long-term fit and is eager to offer competitive compensation for the right candidate.
