A sweet family of five on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time nanny to assist with their three children, ages 8, 5, and 2 months. The family's long-term nanny is retiring and they hope to find someone who wants to join them for years to come! The two oldest children are in school full-time so the majority of the day will be spent with the newborn, but the nanny should feel comfortable caring for all three children in the evenings and during school breaks. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 49 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8am-5pm, and Wednesday and Thursday 8am-7pm. This position begins ASAP!

• All care of the children, including managing infant nap and feeding routines
• Supervising the older children in the evenings after school, helping with homework and occasionally transporting from extracurriculars
• Preparing basic children's meals 
• Child-related laundry and keeping the house organized and tidy throughout the day (the family has a weekly housekeeper, so deep cleaning is not required) 
• Proactively planning playdates, activities, and outings with the baby as they get older 

• Warm and nurturing
• Calm and patient
• Proactive in planning outings and activities 

• US work authorization
• Comfortable navigating public transportation 
• Experience with infants as well as school-aged children 
• Comfortable caring for multiple children simultaneously 
• Up to date on Tdap, and initial Covid vaccine 

• $35-43/hr.
