Overview

A friendly, professional family in New York City is seeking an experienced full-time Nanny to care for their infant son, who was born at the end of February. Both parents have demanding careers and are looking for a calm, energetic, and flexible caregiver who can provide attentive infant care while becoming a long-term part of their family. The position will begin at the end of July or early August, when the baby will be approximately 5.5–6 months old.

 

The ideal candidate is nurturing, experienced with infants, easy to be around, and able to adapt to the changing needs of two busy working parents. The family values open communication, warmth, and a collaborative personality, and hopes to find someone interested in growing with their family for years to come.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00am–6:00pm
  • End of July / early August start date preferred

Responsibilities

  • Full care for one infant including feeding, diapering, naps, developmental play, and maintaining routines
  • Supporting age-appropriate milestones and engagement
  • Taking the baby on walks and outings
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of nursery and baby-related areas
  • Bottle cleaning and tidying related to the child

Qualifications

  • Warm, energetic, and engaging personality
  • Calm and flexible approach with strong communication skills
  • Professional yet easygoing demeanor
  • Interested in a long-term position with the family

Requirements

  • CPR certified
  • Able to work collaboratively with two involved working parents
  • Extensive prior infant experience

Salary and Benefits

  • $40–$45/hour DOE
  • PTO, Sick Days, Holidays
