Overview

A family is seeking a temporary Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support for their newborn from June 1 through August 1.

The schedule will be 3–4 nights per week, with shifts typically ranging from 10 to 12 hours (most commonly 7:00 PM–7:00 AM). The family is flexible on exact scheduling and open to aligning with the right candidate’s availability.

This is a fully newborn-focused role, ideal for a specialist who is confident supporting overnight care while maintaining a calm, structured environment. The baby will have their own room, and the NCS will have a comfortable space within the nursery for overnight care.

The family is seeking someone who is warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with newborns, while also being highly reliable and professional. A collaborative and supportive approach is important, particularly as the mother plans to breastfeed and incorporate pumping, similar to her experience with her first child.

Open to local candidates within a commutable distance.
