Overview

A busy, kind-hearted family of four (with a new baby on the way!) is seeking a dedicated career nanny. The children are 3 and 5 years old, and the family prioritizes a home environment built on emotional intelligence, respect, and curiosity.

The family values organization and structure but believes that structure should be delivered with a warm, gentle touch. They are looking for a long-term partner to join their "village" as they welcome their third child.

The Ideal Candidate:

You are a "proactive caregiver" who can manage the high-energy needs of multiple young children while maintaining a peaceful, organized atmosphere. You lead with kindness, are naturally engaging, and have the organizational skills to keep a household of three young children running smoothly without needing constant direction. You are open to working with a mostly SAHM who is enthusiastic about having a team member who can help run the household smoothly.


The schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30am -4:30pm with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

There will be an option for OT until 5pm most days. Evening hours for date nights will also be available but is not required.

Responsibilities

Daily schedule: Days will be spent mostly with infant, navigating maintaining a schedule, multiple naps, feeding, and prioritizing floor time, developmentally appropriate activity, and time outside. Some days you will also be responsible for drop off and pick up of older children
and spend afternoon working as a team to make sure after school goes smoothly.

Creative Activity Planning: As infant gets older, engaging in developmentally enriching activities. For older children, on non school days, lead engaging, non-screen activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and neighborhood "field trips" to the park or museum.

Professional Communication: Keep parents updated on developmental milestones, daily wins, and any challenges through a shared log or regular check-ins.

Other responsibilities: Keep play areas and kids rooms clean, cleaning bottles, kids laundry, emptying diaper pale, meal prep for kids, keeping toys organized, toy rotation when appropriate, seasonal clothing rotation when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Willing to travel with the family on vacations a couple times a year
  • Strong desire to work with families with multiple children
  • College or Graduate degree in early childhood education
  • Familiarity with Montessori philosophy
  • Love for travel and swim!
  • Desire to be with family long term

Requirements

  • Enjoy swimming and feel confident with kids in the water
  • Open to working with a SAHM
  • 5+ years of experience in professional nannying, ideally with multi-child households
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development (3–5 age range) and newborn care
  • College degree
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification

Salary and Benefits
