A loving couple and their one year old child, are seeking a temporary summer true mother's helper in East Hampton, NY.   The role will be from around Memorial Day through Labor Day.  This schedule is Friday 3pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am, around 31 hrs per week, with flexibility.  Preference is for someone local who can live-out, but would consider live-in for the right candidate. The position is ready to hire now.  Local candidates to the tri-state area only.  The family is not looking to relocate anyone.

• This is a true mother's helper position
• Daily childcare needs for a toddler
• Date nights when parents go out
• Handling toddler when guests are over
• ‬‭ Maintain a clean and safe environment for the baby.‬
• Assist with light household tasks (laundry, tidying up baby's area, tidying up common‬ areas like living room, dishes).‬
• ‬Support Mom with meal prep.  
• Shopping for any items needed for a recipe provided by mom.‬
• Run occasional errands (grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, etc.).
• ‬‭Provide guidance and support to the new mom.‬
• ‬‭Help facilitate a calm, peaceful environment for rest and recovery.‬

• Nurturing, warm, patient, and attentive
• Reliable/dependable
• Able to‬‭ take the initiative while respecting the‬ family's routine.  
• Must love dogs and occasional dog walking.‬

• Legal to work in the US
• CPR Certified
• Fluent in English
• Valid and clean driver's license
• Prior experience with toddlers
• Household upkeep.
• Scrubs/nurse's uniform required
• Aware of boundaries and privacy with the newborn and family
• Flexibility in schedule
• Hands-on toddler upport
• General household assistance

The family is offering $45/hr + based on experience.
