Overview

A wonderful family living in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking a ROTA nanny to join their family and look after their two children.  The schedule is two weeks on/off.  Prefer someone who lives locally and can go home on their off time.  Open to flying in/out for the right person.   The family travels internationally throughout the year when the children are not in school or have time off.  Seeking a Spanish-speaking nanny (You MUST BE FLUENT as there will be an interview portion in SPANISH!) as they would like the children (almost 2 years and 5 years old) to be fluent.  The position is looking to hire immediately.  

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a structured schedule for the children
  • Creative and educational activities tailored to each specific milestone.
  • Fostering and monitoring developmental milestones
  • Encouraging good sleep habits and completing the bedtime routine
  • Researching activities and classes in the area, arranging play dates
  • Ordering supplies for the children
  • Taking them to doctors' appointments
  • Toddler sometimes wakes up in the evenings, so comfortable working with occasional lack of sleep
  • Solely speaking in Spanish to the children.

 

 

Requirements

  • Legal to work in the US
  • Passport Ready, not expiring within six months, and willing to travel during holidays
  • Heavy travel experience is required
  • Valid, clean driver's license
  • Prior ROTA experience is required
  • College degree
  • A background/certification in early childhood education, development, or psychology is a plus!
  • Fluent in Spanish is a MUST
  • Fully vaccinated
  • Seeking longevity

Salary and Benefits

The family is open to a competitive salary of $150K++ based on experience, with a medical stipend.
